Hi all,

Got offer from DXC and Ensono for senior analyst 2 role. Both are mainframe support project with almost same package. can anyone pls tell how long DXC will give WFH for Chennai based projects? Are they even giving WFH first of all ??

Secondly is there any possibility to move into some different projects after some years like development or Mainframe admin kind of roles?? Pls guide

Although DXC is a remote first company,WFH in DXC is not guaranteed. Also, they are revamping and reopening offices across the globe. So basically it depends on the project you are assigned. If the project or your manager requires you to WFO, then you have no other option.

You can move to other projects only if
1. The manager endorses and approves your movement to a different project.
2. There is a vacancy and you possess the requisite skills and experience. OJT is difficult.

Don't know which delusional world you are living in!! Please attend town halls once in a while! DXC has already opened brand new offices in Mumbai and Hyderabad that can accommodate all the resources assigned to that location and even more.
New office locations have been finalized for Bengaluru and Chennai as well! New Bangalore office which has seating capacity of 8000 people will be functional by Jan 2026.

What is revenge Job Hopping?

It is a phenomenon observed when a candidate frequently jumps job in order to have a market correction to his salary.
Say person A got settled in his job for 5 years and his current salary is 7lpa..He joined at 4 lpa.
Now for his experience, he can be paid upto 30 lpa for the role.
So after switching for 13 lpa.. He keeps job hopping from 13-19 and 19-28 within a year where he finally feels he is paid adequately.

Been 3 months since I joined Luxoft and I am assigned to a backward DXC project. The lead is oppressive and bossy. There is no work-life balance and 9:30 hours of work is not enough for them. My probation period is going to end soon. Should I inform my Luxoft manager and tell him to change my project right now ? Or shall I wait for him to end my probation period ?
