Mine was good. Easing back into things. I am in audit and our busy season just got going. This week is week two into audit season and I barely got a shower today. Haha. Not so sure how the next six weeks are gonna go at this rate! Even after that I am booked on clients all the way through July 1. This means I work 11+ hours a day now until July.
I got this job because I am trying to compensate for having one parent/one stream of income to use to set up my kiddo as best I can. I hope in time I will make enough money to bring this ideaology into fruitation. For now it’s so hard balancing work and family life, For every second I give to quality time with my daughter I give up a second of my own personal time. And honestly for years all through college my personal time has only been literally having a shower each day 😂 Not sure how I am going to hold up this year. It looking forward to gaining support from friends in this room.

Hello, I have a final panel interview coming up for a Strategic Product Consultant role at Procore (Construction SaaS). It’ll be 3 separate interviews, 30 minute each with a Team Lead, a Senior Consultant, and a Customer Success Manager.

I’ve already completed 2 interviews; 1 screening interview with a recruiter and 1 with a hiring manager.

I’m currently a PM for a General Contractor looking to pivot into tech.

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go. What are some things recruiters expect from candidates in this situation to continue considering them?

For me my job is super demanding not only hourly but mentally and I don’t get enough sleep, can’t cook for myself, can’t exercise, etc. I know you get it. Hi SP’s! Anyone here have experience with telling their child about the divorce and how he will never have certain things (like daddy sleeping over or mommy sleeping over) etc? I really need some guidance right now. Feeling really broken as my son (5) is constantly battling his feelings of wanting to be with mommy vs daddy. Hi single parents! How do you cope with being the NOT preferred parent? They say a mom and son bond is unbreakable but my son always chooses his dad 🥲 no matter how hard I try for our relationship, he always misses his dad even if they spent the whole week together. I love that their relationship is strong, but still hurts to know he’s fine without me but not his dad!
