Hi All,
I am having 9.3 yrs of experience with 10lpa salary (including 70K incentive).
I have been selected in HSBC with CTC as 15.2Lpa (including PF,excluding bonus).
But now I am feeling I have asked less amount as per my experience. Currently I am serving notice period. I don't want to take counter offer & renegotiate them as it sounds not good to me but on the other side I am not satisfied & I don't want to be underpaid. My interview process started in April and I got offer in July 1st week.

15 LPA with 9 YOE is not a good offer. But it's fine for your 1st offer. I guess you resigned this month only you still have 1.5 months to go. So keep looking for better opportunity. It's very difficult to join the company if you are not satisfied. Try look for retention cause cognizant can easily match this offer.

Still 1.5 months left, you would easily get 18+ look for other opportunities and at last moment try to renegotiate with the company you want to be part of. Best of luck 👍

How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

I have 6.5 yoe in rpa and my current organisation is capgemini with 16.3 lpa fixed ctc. Pwc kolkata is giving me 19 lpa with 75k joining bonus. I tried a lot to get at least 21 lpa but hr is saying for your experience 19 is the maximum limit. Should i accept offer or not?
