I have 4yrs exp ,I had my ibm pdm managerial interview yesterday for a Java Full Stack role. The discussion lasted around 50 minutes and focused mainly on my project experience. In the end, the interviewer asked about salary expectation, rotational shift, and preferred location (Bangalore).

It has been 1 day and I haven’t received any HR updates yet. Does this usually indicate positive feedback, or could it also mean rejection? Would appreciate insights from similar experiences.

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. YouTube has lot of resources but confused on which one to start with. I have an interview this Tuesday in another 2 days.
