I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. If you were an Uber employee that got laid off, how have you been faring?

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it? 2. What certifications are valued today? Seems like being a AWS Cloud Practitioner is a good general one, but are there others that stand out?
