I recently joined PTC as an associate product analyst on CAD-PLM interaction tech support team. I've completed associate certifications of creo and windchill and I'm also CSWA. I'm confused about further career path and what I should do. Should I stick to support and integration management or go for core design. The pay is comfortable in the 7-8LPA range. But I'm clueless about growth in the field. Any suggestions?.. please mention your field and YOE in your replies. Regards.

Hi fishes, I recently joined Accenture, I am from manual testing background and they put me into monitoring team where we need to analyse errors looking at codes, logs and resolve it and the KT that is being given to me doesnt feel enough when I raised concern to TL, TL itself is blaming it on me that I qm not able to understand what is being taught, I am not able to work in the project at all, I requested for roll off within a month, will this imact my career at accenture? someone please sugges

I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

I joined as a freshman with 4LPA in 2020 and now I got placed for 7.5LPA

Am I underpaid or should I negotiate for more ?

Why is there such a huge pay difference between IT and Mechanical/auto industries? Many people in IT are getting 3xx salary hikes, but here I am struggling to get more that 20-30% hikes. Sure the skills are much more demand in IT field, but the discrepancy is too much. Is it due to most of the work are outsourced to consultancy/service based companies by the OEM? Or is there simply too much candidates available?
