I was recently presented with an opportunity to do some consulting on the side with a former customer from my banking career. This is something I have been interested in but will be a new space for me, so I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. If so, how did you/would you price yourself? For context I have 6 YOE in credit/finance with 5 of those years being in banking. Currently working in fintech. Also quite familiar with the client’s business.

For those who work in Agencies, how do you accurately identify the work capacity of your Account Management team? I’m currently comparing against account billable/number of accounts, however, there are still discrepancies. I layer on time tracking, but smaller billable accounts will sometimes be just as demanding as larger billable accounts which create profitability issues.

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry?
