Hi all! I’m a May 2024 graduate from Purdue University w/ a B.A. in PR & Strategic Comms. I have 4 years of internships in content marketing; specifically social media, digital ads, and PR.

Just last year, I knew I didn’t want to be in PR/content but found that I’m interested in sales, insights, and paid social media, specifically ad sales planner, strategic analyst, etc. roles

Any tips or tricks on how to start?

Is it fair for divorced parents to take up two parent/teacher conference slots? I don’t think it is. I would love to hear your thoughts about this and how it os handled at different schools.

Are there any agencies where creatives actually have good work-life balance in LA, SF or anywhere else for that matter? Like no weekends or no working more than a 40-50hr week? Or do I have to go in house for this? Or do I have to leave advertising altogether?

I feel like I’m either getting burnt out by work or trying to heal myself from it. There’s never much time for real life and I don’t want to be on my death bed reminiscing like, “Wow, I made some cool ads.” Nothing scares me more.
