With 8+ years of IT experience, I’m working as an Engagement Manager at Capgemini, with strong exposure to PMO, portfolio governance, stakeholder management, and financial oversight. I’m also a Certified Scrum Master (SSM).

I interviewed at Amazon for a PM role in Dec. 2020 and was ultimely rejected. I was told I have to wait a year to reapply. Fast forward to June 2022, another recruiter reaches out to me re: a PM role. I pass the screening interview, and move on to the virtual on site interview stage. I randomly get a call from the recruiter telling me there is now a TWO YEAR reapply policy in place so I'm not eligible to interview for any PM roles until Dec. 2022. Anyone ever heard of this policy? Seems strange
