It struck me as a little tone deaf considering they still won’t tell people when and where they’re taking the bar. But yes, 6-8 questions isn’t bad.
Many people fail and have failed multiple times by 1, 2, 3 points. This could be life changing for many future attorneys. I would be thankful. Look at the recent California pass rate. I’m sure many would have loved that point boost.

I’m fine with this. I often have OC from Washington, so I’d love for their standards to be lower. Makes combatting them far easier.
Yikes. Although, I do have a friend who has failed the bar 3 times now by 4 points.
What changes did they make for the July exam? Additional exam centers or something?
Oh dang. Yeah I probably shouldn’t sneer I’m sure I’ll need those 4 points 😂
Not entirely sure yet - they’re splitting the exam into both July and September dates, and applicants have to mark our preferences online by Friday. I requested July and I’ll be curious to see if I’m pushed to September anyways ... and more importantly if they’ll tell me that before I start studying 😐
4 points is like 6-8 MBE questions so it’s not bad at all.
Why are you complaining? That’s pretty significant...
Four points in the UBE is nothing to scoff at. I would not have passed in WA with my UBE score but I did get enough for that reduced score.

Same. I was aiming for NY, which was low. I sat for 2 states in 3 days and knowing all that law was a lot. I did not get 270!
You’re complaining about free points on the bar exam?
