I won't say like, I have more money,but I have a year's expenditure as backup.
My husband would be working. I would like to plan for another baby also, so, just thinking of spending quality time with family without the full time work stress and to do a course in nutrition and to explore the space. Is it a bad idea. If i clear nutrition, starting salary might be very low also. Still I would get flexibile timing and to take care of family. Kindly share ur opinion
Can't you do course along with work
Usually women LEAVE IT after 10 years.. I have seen one similar case too..
I think , you already have an year's of expenditure , then definitely you can go for your interest that you want to pursue, just need to live little frugally.
If that doesnot work there is always a career return option in IT for women.
So go for it want you wanted.
As some one suggested please ask for 1 year unpaid leave. That’s the best suggestion and incase you change mind you can always quit in this 1 yr but atleast you have so much time to think
Currently which company and tech stack?
Try taking long leave or unpaid leave in my opinion
Hey , I am also from DE field with 9 yrs of experience.
No kids.I want to start planning for the kid as we both are trying to delay it for our own reasons (i think I am not ready to become a mom and all other responsibilities)
Also the main reason is I don’t like my job much but if i stop working it will be full load on my husband and i wanna keep earning to support our dreams and I know i have to try side hustle now before taking any serious decisions and I don’t want to regret later.
This story i am sharing because you have to ask yourself that if you are ready from inside then you don’t have to ask us for the suggestions.
Just think that you don’t want to regret later.
Thanks for this, yeah, I feel like, if I don't take the off now, it would be hard to get the similar time and place with my husband anytime soon.
So, I feel, like taking the off . Though, still in depth, just bit not confident..
Thanks!
