I’m a third year associate who is planning on putting in my two weeks on Friday... accepted a job at a regional firm in the same LoS. Should I hand a physical letter of resignation to my lead partner?

How soon/often do you follow up with a partner or MD that you’re trying to network with after sending the first introduction email and receiving no reply? Assuming they’re pretty busy on average.

Over the past year, my counsel is constantly judged by a select few senior business folks (eg arguing over FTC compliance, IP risk counsel, and even simple things regarding NDAs that any attorney wouldn’t question. It’s very frustrating that my own team is the one I have to defend my logic to (and not opposing counsel). It feels like they want a rubber stamper, which is not me.I never faced this at my prior in-house roles (probably because they were much a larger). Any advice on how to handle?

I’ll be asking my last job for a letter of recommendation but I’m not sure who to ask. My boss, who is lovely and would write an amazing LOR. Or my boss's boss who would put minimal effort in but it would have more weight.

How can I add multiple characteristics within one cell and make sure that a pivot table can read both values independently if needed?
