I’m a Junior accountant, recent MBA grad in Finance, located in NYC, just got laid off due to a merger. Anybody hiring or know any opening positions?

Is the layoff spree ended in PS? No new scapegoat opening up in last two days. Anyone affected in recent couple of days? Please speak up to make the public aware.

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

I am currently being hired for nightshift. Are there any chances for getting day shift or mid shift?
Or are there any chances to get a change in shift after getting on boarded?
Will it be okay to discuss this with HR?
Because during interview I said yes to Night Shifts.

I’m saving up for a first home (3-5 yrs out, 30k saved) and looking for insights on safe amount to spend. HHI 300k (very recently doubled), 30k student debt, children in next few years, 29yo. We enjoy spending on vacations and hobbies so lower fixed costs, and interested in FI. Trying to figure out a balance between getting a dream home but setting up a secure future. And also for variable compensation I will get in this March right? For this we don't need to wait for a year I guess.

Joining CTS with 19Lpa as SA, will my manager or co workers know my CTC?
If a team has 2 SA, 1 with 8Lpa another with 19Lpa same work experience but lateral entry,
Will the work load varies? Do they assign work according to the CTC???
