Currently PL (3+ YOE at firm), went M7 BS, ~7 years industry in ops/supply chain roles at GE prior to BS. More recently been approached about PE Ops roles or Dir/VP of Ops at PE backed comps. My interest has certainly grown in the space but I know high level about the space and how it operates and would like to be better connected to best position myself. If anyone is open to connecting and sharing insights/connects, I would be appreciative.

I have done masters in commerce and i have experience of 3.5 yrs working on support project related to Bloomberg fundamentals consultation with bare minimum package of 2.6 lpa as a ctc. Is doing some courses from after market such as power bi ,sql etc will help me to raise my package or should i switch by upscaling my skill or without it as environment is toxic and they will not let me grow.kindly share your insight to help me choose better career path.

If you start as a Program Manager, how/when do you begin to advise people as a people lead? I’ve heard Program Managers are not people leads. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
