Hi, anyone here working mainly for government clients ?
How do you think about yourself compared to your friends who work for private entities ?

I sometimes get inferior feelling that gov clients are less demanding and not as challegning as private companies. Just want to check whether anyone feel the same.

At the moment our government clients are providing stability and continuity for the wider business. Whilst the private sector might not be providing as much work, the public sector continues to provide long term contracts and its where people want to be rather than sat on the bench.

Despite some external perceptions the government does a lot of innovative and interesting work which is fun. Instead of helping companies to save money so they can open more fast food restaurants or design/produce more fast fashion, I help the government make informed decisions, keep the public safe and get the help they need

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

Does anyone know how litigation finance works on the plaintiff side? If someone wanted to bring a lawsuit against their former employer would a general contingency arrangement with a plaintiff’s firm make sense? Or would one need to find funding and then contact a plaintiff’s firm to actually handle the case? I’m a transactional lawyer, so this is out of my wheelhouse.

Hi

I resigned Epam Anywhere last week because I am on bench since 2.5 month , package in EPAM Anywhere was 32.40 lpa fixed .

Started looking outside and got opportunities.

Two offers:

Citi bank- 3277000 fixed

Mastercard- 308000(including 2.80lakhs variable)

I am really confused between these two companies, I heard WLB is very good in Mastercard, but again their salary difference is too much.

Kindly suggest its Urgent.

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

I don’t think I have enough YOE to go for a program architect role at SF otherwise I’d be interested.
