A little thrown off: hiring manager reached out on linkedin asking if I'd be interested in a role. I obviously thought first would be a recruiter screening but turned out it was a zoom interview with the HM herself. I was not prepared at all, had only prepped for basic HR/why this company questions. Longest half hour in my life. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut.
