Wish you all a very Happy New Year. I had got a verbal confirmation to join SE. As per HR I have shared all my documents who informed will need approvals for releasing the offer letter. It’s been more than a month now and I am not hearing back anything on the status. I tried reaching out but HR is not receiving my call, everytime replies mentioning I will call you back. This is first time I have faced such situation. Is it a common practice , please suggest based on exp.

I got selection mail from tcs on 22 Aug, they asked to upload documents next day. HR discussion is not done yet , how many days they take to do the hr discussion after uploading documents ?

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

I had final round interviews last week for the company I really want to work for. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?
