My one and only

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

The brand name is truly different. For context, built a startup, expanded to 4 cities, raised Series A — none recognised by big firms (or recruiters)
One year at BCG and recruiters keep knocking, big firms respond to your cold emails for coffee chats, etc.
It sucks but we like in a brand-conscious society
Thanks. So essentially worth doing for brand name at entry level then I guess.
Branding definitely helps. I’ve been away from the big 4 for about a year now, and it really is great to drop the name. The cache it carries means you don’t have to explain what you did there, etc. People just take it for granted that you know what the heck you’re doing.
moved over to big tech from D after 2 YOE — tbh, a lot of what i learned was very soft skills driven in consulting (YMMV based off projects), but i can say the brand name has helped when applying. happy to speak more about it!

Brand name recognition is definitely a thing. For school, for work. If you can get a few years of a big name on your resume and it aligns with your goals, do it. In the absence of close references, work product, or a working relationship, people use big names as a proxy. Oh, I know X company services are generally too notch and slight of. There is a really good chance any one coming from that company is well trained and at a hug skill level to match that company's standards.
vs. coming from a small company they've never heard of. No idea what your title really means. I've seen people go from entry level to "Director" and having worked from them, I absolutely know that is a seriously inflated title.
