Considering an offer at PwC AC at Senior Consultant level. Trying to understand how variable payout has trended in the last 2–3 years in india. For average performers, is payout usually close to target or significantly lower? Also how does it work for someone joining mid-cycle? Checking here as HR mentioned it will be 0-20% of fixed pay.

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Is that an ethical factor if both employees do the same job at the same pace, quality, etc?

So if I move now to another team this year (maybe aug,22) will I be Still eligible for senior in my new team or should I continue to serve 1 more year there for my advancement?
