I have applied to one of the roles about 10 days back and I didn't recieve any calls regarding my screening or interview.

Can someone tell me how many days does it take for the initial screening to happen after applying.

Also, how much time will it take for all the process to happen ( screening + interview + final discussion).

Ive been learning to be a data scientist (Ineuron Full Stack Data Science)

Considering having a hands an experience on 4-5 Projects with Internship Certificates, Is it possible to get an opportunity directly into a Data Scientist Role(NLP/ML)?

Or should i go and work as an Analyst first and then look for an opportunity at more adv role?

Hey guys, I have the first short 15-minutes call with a product guy from Hugging Face today wherein he is likely going to take a guess at what roles I could be suitable for. I had applied for Post-Sale Machine Learning solutions Engineer. Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. Who on earth does that..?

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

Has anyone received equity as contingency comp? I have a potential client with a founders dispute. He doesn’t have cash, and the other founder ripped him off and is now running the company. He wants to sue for equity and wants to pay me with whatever equity he wins. I’ve never done a deal like that. Is that even enforceable? CA law. The startup is actually quite promising.
