I am interviewing with a company which offers a base salary of 150k (They were straightforward and mentioned it at the first interview). This is 100k lower than my previous base, but I still decided to go forward because the role is very interesting. After 3 rounds of interviews they really like my profile and I actually believe the company is a fit, but the salary is very conservative for the responsibilities involved. I am ready to compromise for 230k. What is my leverage? TIA

Hey anyone has advice on fixed income execution trader in a buy side firm? Sizable firm, good team, very low pay, okay wlb, been here for a year and working for 4 years in total, was sales/ small firm analyst before. Though trading is fun, but can’t think of executing orders for another 10 years. Trying to get on track of fixed income analyst - am doing some research in my spare time for my team now. Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.

Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.

Can someone please share the current trends in joining/signing on bonus in Asset management industry.

I have an offer from an Asset Manager in London and it is slightly below my expectations. I want to approach them for a joining bonus but was not sure if it is a thing in asset management.
