Has anyone taken the CAIA ? Any tips ?
FactSet hi, does anyone have experience working for FactSet in Norwalk, CT? How is the culture like? Are they promoting from within? Turnover? Benefits? Pay? Work-life balance? I’m applying for an investment type role and taking a job with them would require relocation. Anything that you can share is much appreciated, thanks!

I would say not a thing unless it’s a small boutique/family office where they throw cash around a bit more
It is human psychology that income must meet one’s expectations,or be predictable, otherwise the ability to work will be discounted like a salary and one will not do one’s best.
I agree with your point on psychological alignment between income and expectations, through disagree with not doing one’s best. I strongly believe that income should reflect one’s experience, skills and ability. As a person of minority and color, I have experienced discounted salaries not corresponding to one’s ability and experience.
Not to discount is a choice, I am making and hence the question.
Is it a long only or hedge fund?
Its an asset manager that invests across equities, bonds and alternatives- Aum $400M.
It is not a hedge fund.
15% is an average- I would only take 15% not lower. Support staff bank that much on their offers in asset management so 15%-20% is fair
