My company asked me to list a Senior QA role with 4+ years of experience on LinkedIn, while I’m actually an Associate QA with 7 months of internship and 1 month of work experience. They did this to present my profile to clients. But now, my LinkedIn doesn’t match my resume, which could hurt my chances when applying elsewhere. I believe in being honest — has anyone faced this? How did you handle it?

Though i had counter offer of 17.3 (15.7 fixed)

Queries:
1. Will exl pay the variable pay fully ?
2. Hr mentioned for client meetings i may need to come to Noida on my own expenses ( from chennai) but may be once in a year.
Is that true ?

Anyone moved from consulting to an internal role? How did you find it. I’m fed up of consulting

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Is it actually worrisome to be on the bench in this environment or is this just a product of highly ambitious over achievers worrying about not being constantly utilized?

Yesterday only during their press meet they told that they have honored all the offer letters last quarter...and today itself you can see so many delaying and postponing of joining cases in this group only....there must be something very wrong or messed up.
