I'm currently exploring opportunities in HR for HRBP or Generalist roles and open to transition to TM & OD roles as well. It's been almost 8 months now since I left my last job, and I had to relocate for my family.

I'm currently looking for opportunities in Chennai, which has become more challenging because of my current CTC. Recruiters often try to reduce my CTC by quoting my shift from Mumbai to Chennai.

I stood my ground though, is that okay or should I change my strategy?

Any tips for having to attend a team lunch and a separate happy hour while fasting? Outside of Ramadan happy hours aren’t awkward bc I’ll just drink soda or something. However, now do I just sit there and stare at them when they are drinking/munching on their lunch ? 😂

In house interview- I am going to hopefully the final round of interview to meet the whole legal team. I was asked about my availability, and it will take 5 hours if in one day. Should I split to multiple days? Will it cause any issues? Anyone on both sides can speak from their experience? Thanks!

I have received my first offer letter which they wanted me to accept by e- signing it and after i did that theh have sent out form 11 and other documents to be filled in 2 days.
I have never filled form 11 and other personal details untill 1 week before my joining date.

My joining date would be after my notice period which is usually 2 months.
Should I share the person details and form 11 they asked for now itself?
Will it be a problem if i don't wish to join the company later

Okay, so my thoughts are from where she got that stats - 20 percent really ?
I beleive HRs are also subset of that 20 percent, bdw I don't mind saying am a elite subset of the 20 percent looking for better salaries. What's wrong in asking ?

My company has given me a promotion without a raise. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).
