Conventional wisdom was always that raises happened on an annual schedule. But somewhere along the way that does seem to have fallen apart. I think a lot of organizations have just used disruption from the pandemic as an excuse to do whatever they want and break from traditional practices. I didn't get a raise in 2024, so I'm due for one (overdue?), and I'm hoping that will get resolved.

Yes I agree !! Hopefully you do get one ! It’s only right ! Best of luck !
We have a yearly review and pay raise follows. It's not a standard increase across the board. Managers rate you on certain subject "fiscal responsibility" "patient safety" "personal growth" there are others too. It's also influenced by your status with the facility and the role. I've been at the same hospital for many years but changed roles a year ago. No one informed me that when I changed roles right before raises came out that I would be giving up my years of service credit for my raise. I was treated like a new employee and my raise was terrible because nothing I did in my previous role was accounted for. I was scored by my new manager and I had been there less than a year.
That was terrible and had I known I wouldn't have timed my role change better.

Ours is similar! That’s terrible they should have def told you about that in advance!
