For me, I think “pay yourself first” is the most important. It forces me to save money first so I wouldn’t need to worry about making a budget for expenses, since I can see how much “disposable” money I have to spend.

I just started this recently. Each month, I allocate $1k of my pay to my brokerage acct and $1k to HYSA (to buy property). I max out 401k and do backdoor roth. And save all my bonus. So each yr, it’s around 70k: 24k + 20k + 6k + 20k bonus.

Okay so, I find myself in a tough situation. Recently, my professional license became jeopardized. There’s many details that I rather not share publicly just incase, but trust me when I say that this was over a ridiculous complaint that wasn’t serious. Do partners ever call you about your time entries? Like “why did xyz take so long?” Didn’t happen to me once during my 4 years at my prior firm but has happened to me twice now at current V5 firm. I do not pad my hours and am just dumb and slow…wish they would back off.

I have offer of 19 LPA from Optum which includes 2.5lpa variable

Today after HR round with Morgan Stanley they have given me the amount as 2365000 base + 141900 EmployerPF + 354750 Variable + 4.75 lakh relocation.

Now, I am totally confused which one should I proceed as the amount is also beyond expectations from Morgan.

Please help me in choosing one out of both of these.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier,before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort.Please suggest!!
