What is eligibility criteria for GICP (variable) for someone joining mid financial year and what's the frequency, % of payment?

Contemplating a career switch into consulting as I want to go non-technical. I don't want to pay 250k for ivy league MBA. I have a MS in computer engg from a top 5 engineering school. 7YOE at a top 3 semiconductor as ML/AI engineer.

I can get 300+ maybe up to 400-450k TC in FAANG but not liking technical stuff anymore.

Do you think aiming for MBB for a Management Consulting[tech domain] role is a stretch given I have no consulting background? What kind of compensation can I expect?

Is it normal for people to ask for a raise when more responsibility/task fall under them? How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I'm open to working remotely those two weeks but know that may not be the best when I start.

Hi all! I picked up a part time job as “computer support” a few months ago and have since found myself doing a lot more than anticipated. I handle installation and maintenance of Burglar systems, access control, video surveillance, network systems, POS workstations, VoIP, and payment terminals. I took the job with no “formal” education in tech. My “trainer” at the company was a joke, I basically taught myself everything. What do you think would be a reasonable hourly pay for such a person?
