Hi fellow fishes, this might be a sensitive topic but if anyone has seen a layoff in big pharma R&D, can you speak to how it happens - like do people get let-go immediately or get some sort of notice? And if there are signs of layoff coming at my company, how could I prepare for an upcoming job search? eg. What material can I retain from my old company... Obviously not actual experimental data, but are slide decks ok if I wipe away the most sensitive details like target name?

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.
