Hi fellow PMs, I am trying to improve my PM skills with some hands on exercises. My current focus area is 'metrics'. My plan is to do some basic reading on metrics and then try some hands on examples. I need some outside help on the feedback - to comment on my work and help me improve for the next exercise. Any suggestions? Can I just post here to get the feedback or is there a better forum?

How do PPMDs make sure when you are replacing an incumbent, you don't get handed down a broken system ? What sort of knowledge transfer and contractual framework do you get the client to agree to and how do you negotiate on that? I feel clients are not always honest and hide a lot of landmines which a consulting company can walk into and blamed for it.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Would appreciate any thoughts on how to go about bringing this up without pissing people off because I love the firm and do not want to leave
