Anyone has the midtown uniform?

My first round of interview cleared for Walmart Walmart global tech but HR didn't schedule the 2nd round after 3 weeks, and he mentioned that there is some migration of tools are happening, is this the real reason or something else, Anyone face similar issues is this real or any other reason ?

What has brand do with it...you are not making money through brand in anyway...you are making money cause of ur skills and hardwork.. I think you should really go for the new offer... and if only tcs understood how valuable their resources were to them they would allow them to comeback after one leaves...they realize we are replaceable and so they have this rule in place... 3x your current ctc is a lot...go for it..:)
Not necessarily its quite possible now...I too had 120% hike...and I didn't even negotiate and later I realized if I had they would have offered me more... I was too naive and didn't know much at the time
you have responsibility and a family to feed. so better think about yourself first. for them you are just an employee and easy replaceable.

Retention discussions are useless, and thats why I declined that discussion when offered by my mgr...

@CC1 - I simply said I want to leave as I spent more than 8 yrs in same project and company, but still they are calling and asking we can give 20% hike (though I got 40% hike and this was informed to them still they are chasing fot discussion)
I hv professionally called my mgr before submitting my resignation then he was giving gyan to me and promotions to others 😜

Releasing you from the project doesn't address the utilisation of your skills or upscaling them. You'll again have to find a project for yourself or else get into whatever they assign you. Coming to the pay, they're not going to match with the offer you are holding. I had an offer of about ~80% and they gave me a hike of ~8% even being a very critical resource. 🥲🥲
Your Manager and HR must not have born and brought up in TCS itself naa. Indian service companies are not empathetic towards employees. TCS valuation tripled in last 5-7 years but company still not at par with any decent product company remuneration.
So even if your single handed skills and innovation going to bring million dollars contract to the company, they are not interested in any royalty to the employee. You know why? They are brand and they have company policies.
Plus let go attitude. If not you, they're sure they're gonna get someone else to do the job or make someone or other do it. 🥲
My Conversation with HR turned into argument, she started getting aggressive & hyper, I just cut short the conversation & told "Bye".
Ridiculous it is that HR is getting angry when employee is leaving, atleast learn to value your employee when they are around so this discussion would have not even happened.
