I’m actually surprised I’m getting a hard time from companies about being hired considering I funded, scaled, and sold my business of 6 years. Anyway I’m ideally looking for an AE role, but after couple of months of applying and getting nowhere I’m also open for an SDR role. Anyone that can refer me I’d be super grateful, thank you!

I’m a 4th-year at a midsize firm doing mostly oil and gas work, but I’m looking to change practice areas so I can get away from a dying/morally problematic industry and move into EC/VC, Corporate, tech transactions, and/or privacy and cybersecurity (have CIPP/US & /E). I joined 6 months ago as a L5 manager. I like my team but don't enjoy the work. I also feel I was down levelled at the time of joining. Should I wait 6 months and move internally? How easy is internal mobility especially if I were to target a L6 role? Would applying outside be wise ?

Preparing for my final round case interview and I’ve realized that whereas prior to the first round I was pretty comfortable with casing, now I’m less and less so since I’m increasingly anxious that I could not come up with the right buckets.
