I have cleared all the interviews for Walmart Global Tech and salary negotiations are also done. A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. On Monday, after just five months in my role, I was laid off from my job at a tech company in the food delivery space. During the call with my manager and HR rep, I understood that I would be paid through the 15th. If I sign the severance agreement, I’ll receive an additional two weeks of pay. I took notes and asked questions for clarity, but yesterday I received a payment for about half my paycheck (i.e. not through 15th!). Tips for negotiating the severance package? I started at $57k base last year, with OTE of $70k

I received a small raise at the start of this year, along with a new comp plan so current numbers are $59k base and ~$80k OTE.

This role is in a life sciences vertical. SDRs in this vertical w/ a year of experience average 60-70k base.

Really kind of shocking that management would bring in three pretty conservative speakers.
