I am currently working in HCLTech since 2022 Jan. I got a 50% hike offer and dropped papers in feb 2025. Now my managers are asking me to retain by matching the offer amount as project allowance and they are saying it wi be added in ctc next cycle. They also mentioned due to some reason if 100% amount is not added to ctc the remaining amount will continue as project allowance. Eg: if 50% is added to ctc 50% will be project allowance and they are unsure about that percentage. Help me.

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

I got an offer from hcl and they are offering very less hike on my current CTC around 20% even fixed part is less than my current fixed amount.

I reverted asking them to provide 40% hike on my cctc or 20% hike on fixed cctc and wfh option.
It's been six days no reply from HR.

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.
