I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Hi all, I'm new here and looking to pivot my career path.
No tech experience, 6+ years in a management position.
3 years in hospitality managing 30+ employees at a time.
3 years as a project manager at a plumbing business in NYC, this included service sales experience which I would do majority of the closing myself.
My question: Do I have any leverage to land anything above a simple entry level position? Suggestions/all advice appreciated in advance.

Internal project vs one of the diamond client project which is better .. as i am working for a big client from last 3.5 yrs and too much work pressure (worked for two teams support when was ASE and SE and Dev SE and SSE) and also got recognised by clients multiple time for resolving critical issues in production and good track record in devlopment team as well. Looking for some guidance and advise: I'm at the tail end of the interview process with a company and am told I've got one last round to go with their VP. I've also been invited by the recruiter and the hiring director for an in-person visit to their office to meet them the very next day to show around and then they'll treat me out for dinner. I haven't received any offer from them yet. Is this normal/usual for employers to invite candidates for dinners before making an offer?

Non-American here so I was quite taken by surprise when I went for one today.

Wax was $69 without tip and was out in 20 min.
At the reception they had a sign with “recommended” tips 18%-22% and was asked how much tip I wanted to leave before paying with card.

$14 tip for literally doing your job and 20 min work seems a little excessive… Is that normal here?

Yesterday my boss scheduled a meeting with me for something he needed help with. He was 15min late & took a phone call from his boss during…10min. This has become a habit. At one point I even stoped scheduling our 1:1’s because he misses them so often but he realized a couple months later & told me to start scheduling them again. I told him they aren’t necessary but he insisted. What do I do? It makes me feel less important/unappreciated. I rather not even schedule to meet. Advice?
