I joined an org in aug after 1 year of career break due to layoff as a technical support Engineer. In the name of training they asked to watch videos which were done. After videos they started assigning real time cases to solve. I am really having a hard time understanding things like tools used even though I am aware of them. I think I really became dumb. Because of pressure from TLy BP also started to raise. I don't know how to handle.

Name the most ridiculous micro-managing by partners that you experience.

I’ll go first: MP told me that on initial emails, I am always to start with “Hello [name],” but after the initial email, I am not to address her by name again in the same thread. Initial greeting can only be “Hello [name] ” because just first name is too brisk and a “Hi [name]” is too informal. Had a 5 minute, in depth conversation as to why she prefers it this way…

I am a female account manager and the majority of my clients are older males. I find myself being interrupted, talked over, and just not taken seriously by many of them. I’ve confided in some of the other male AM’s at my company but it seems like they don’t experience the same issue. Any other female AM’s have advice on how to demand respect and display more confidence with these types of overpowering clients?

Where do you keep your non-library original components in Figma? Do you put them to the side outside of a working frame, within its own “Components” page (like Sketch does for Symbols), or do you keep the original directly inside of one of your layouts?

How is the overall WLB, benefits and general pay structure for a Manager role within the BIA team at BMS?

3 YOE in Marketing through internships in college, followed by 2 years Financial Operations/Data Tools full-time. I got an offer for $75K at TekSystems for a Market Analyst role. I gave them a range of $70-75K, so they gave the max. But I am questioning asking for a bit more given insurance is apparently on the higher-end and I want to ensure I didn't low-ball myself.

Just to note, this is about a 25% increase compared to what I am currently making.

A friend of mine introduced me to the portal when I filed a complaint explaining the matter in detail, uploading Twitter DM screenshots, where the company was clearly denying responsibilities on the above.

Took 2 months but today my refund was initiated by Goibibo.
