Hi Fishes, I will be joining TCS Microsoft BU this month as a Test Automation Engineer with 7+ YOE. I had final discussion with HR and offer is expected this week. Any idea which Domain's projects I will be getting in this BU. Also, please share tips to get onsite opportunity.

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. Received offer letter with mentioned that at "TCS Kolkata". Can it be considered that my base/work location is also Kolkata (*as i need this). Or is there any chance that after project allocation it may be changed and forcefully transferred to any other location without my consent?

TCS has given the BGV check to some vendor and today I got the message from that vendor to verify my Permanent address by clicking a link and then by enabling my location and taking selfie in front of house. I am not staying at my permanent address but I am at my present address. How can I take selfie and enable my mobile location and submit the form. Please someone suggest. @Tcs

Need to know one thing urgently. Have attended lateral TCS interview and cleared TR and MR..But got to know in the MR round that my preferred base location they cant provide..So went ahead with it. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any location can be provided...

Can anyone please let me know If I sit for the interview tomorrow will it cause any issue/not?

I am working as PL/SQl developer having 5YOE with 5.45lakh CTC.
Today I got offer from TCS for the same with 10.5lakh.Is it good to accept?

In case of TCS in how many days after salary negotiation call with the HR they will send the salary breakup acceptance email for my approval?

FYI the HR said I will be receiving the above mentioned email.
