Does CTS pay the shortfall of notice period salary?

I’m not designated a senior associate, but my small firm (boss, myself, and a paralegal) is hiring a recent grad. Still needs to pass the hazing ritual (aka bar exam). I will be supervising the new hire. Should I get them a welcome aboard gift or wait for exam results and get a welcome to the club gift? Or both? Ideas for either or both?

For context, I have been a buyer for several years and this is my first 'real' job, so pretty early in my career.

If a team has 2 SA, 1 with 8Lpa another with 19Lpa same work experience but lateral entry,
