Hi folks, I have received an offer for software engineer role from alcon , I am excited and looking forward to join it soon. I had a couple of questions which I thought that I could post here.

1)When is the Usual appraisal cycle at Alcon ? I am told that if I join before the end of September I'll be eligible for the next annual hikes. In this case how much of hike can I expect?

2)What is usually the percentage of hike that one gets when there is a promotion?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…
