So my home office is in city A and I got assigned to a job in city B. Would EY reimburse the flight if I’m flying from city C to city B?

Had an employee request a standing desk due to back problems. went through the ADA process & the employee obtained a doctor's note to support their request. However, the note was questionable. it was from an acupuncturist, on a word doc, no real signature and just said that a standing desk would prevent pain & improve their productivity, nothing about him not being able to work without it. Thoughts? Also, what do you think about having certifications from non-traditional doctors?

Let’s talk office set ups. I am looking at a Uplift standing desk as my big splurge because I have back issues, and the room I work in has horrible lighting so I’m considering some sort of selfie light ring type thing that I can clip to my monitor. I am on H1 B single whose home office is in Manhattan. I live in the New Port area of NJ. Due to the COVID pandemic I do not think that I will have to go to office for another 4 months. Can I possibly work from a location somewhere in the fly over states for the next 4 months ? Will I have a problem with LCA s ? Has anyone had USCIS random visits at their home work location ?

This may be a hot take - but as a younger person, working with parents of small kids (especially new parents) is so frustrating. I frequently find myself responsible for picking up the slack due to their family commitments - it’s also somehow completely socially acceptable for kids to barge into zoom meetings screaming. I wouldn’t find it nearly as bothersome if I felt like leadership and parent colleagues took my issues and non work commitments seriously in addition to that of parents and kids
