Hi, I am a Medical Writer working in a small startup CRO, my first job was in Research and Development, then I did a course in Clinical Research and shifted to Medical Affairs, but there was no work at all in medical affairs in my company so I left in 3 months, because I felt I am wasting my time, then I join in a CRO(current company), i have many things to learn here, but it's really toxic and pay scale is really low, it's been only 8 months here, what should I do? Switch? Or stay here? #HELP

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?
