I have an expiring British Airways credit I need to use in January or February. Options are Lisbon, Paris, Rome and Athens. Anyone have thoughts on any of those in the winter/off season?

I'm coming from the US - my flight credit is use-it-or-lose-it so I'm trying not to spend much more than the original credit.

Has anyone used a hotel in New Delhi (Indra Gandhi) airport while in transit? How was your experience? Are you stuck to the confines of the hotel or can you leave the premises? I'm reading The City We Became by NK Jemisin right now and I'm enjoying it a ton.

Any sci-fi fans here? I recently read this book - blindsight. Absolutely delightful! It's one of those hard sci-fi novels and I'll be honest i didn't understand about 25% of all the concepts.. but even with that, it was soooo good!
