2. Cummins (Product design engineer) - Third party payroll. (10Lpa)

Please help with the decision and reason.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

Feeling very frustrated right now…company talks a big game about DEI internally, while requiring new hires to move to Texas/Arizona, while the company’s PAC donates to politicians pushing extremist, regressive, anti-woman and anti-LGBT laws

They want to encourage us to “bring our whole self to work” while putting us in situations where we can’t be our whole self.

If I get laid off, I have a previous colleague that started a cybersecurity company. I would love to get involved on the business side of it. What is the current market worth of a security architect (cloud and application security) with 9.7 years of experience?

Skillset: Application and cloud security architecture, threat modelling, SSDLC, secure design reviews, SAST (code review), DAST/pentesting, DevSecOps, cloud native security (microservices, containers, Kubernetes), etc.

I have interviews lined up with Honeywell, Deloitte, KPMG, Tata Play, GE, etc. Just want to test the waters before I answer the salary expectation question.
