I have an upcoming interview with Crowdstrike and would like to get a better idea of what to expect.

Is there a good argument for getting both PHR and SHRM-CP?

Hi all!

I am aiming to become an HR Advisor by the end of the year. I have a 1st class degree in Business with Human Resource Management which is CIPD Level 5 accreditated. Does anyone know of any qualifications or courses I'd need to help me become an HR Advisor?
Also, how do you HR professionals keep up to date with changing employment laws?

Feel like I’ve fallen out of love with sales. Love talking with people / presenting. Have been in my new role for a month, was promised a team to generate leads and all I do is cold call all day. Feel out of depth in terms of the knowledge I have. Can’t tell it’s imposter syndrome or need a new career change. Any advice? Feeling lost

Looking to finally go get my SPHR having the PHR for the past 6 years. Still value and pursuing and obtaining?

Have you ever changed your mind a week after turning down the job offer? It’s so hard when you’ve got small children getting sick all the time and you want to start fresh with no PTO.

But I just called their HR Dept to ask if the job is still available. They just signed a contract with a temp agency. However, they’re looking into reversing it and will let me know.
Where would I go from here??? I’d essentially be giving my boss less than a week’s notice. And I look flippant. :(

Which certification we would you recommend for career advancement to be an HR manager? PHR or SHRM? Any other certification I should consider? Pros and cons would be greatly appreciated!

Tips on job hunting while pregnant? I’m currently 17 weeks and I’m not happy at my job. I was thinking of waiting it out and just start my search after probably a few months after the baby is born just to get comfortable with motherhood and going back to work since my leave is only 6 weeks. Has anyone else had this experience?

As a marketing agency, how did you lock in a deal with your first client?

Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run

We have employees across the US (and Canada) and looking to create a formal vacation policy specifically for the US team that addresses carry over (not allowing it).

How do others approach this? Is it through the employment agreement or, a written policy? What language do you use to address it?

Our HR/recruiting department is working on what we're calling an "Attract" score. Essentially, we're wanting to find a way to measure success when it comes to time-to-fill, attrition (or lack thereof), candidate experience, etc. Is anyone using a particular "formula" to calculate this success overall, or are you just tracking it all individually?
