Additional Posts in Londoners in Consulting
Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?
TIA Deloitte @
Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte
Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Your salary will depend on the senior con level (1,2,3) you get offered and the corresponding pay band in that location. It has less to do with the rank of your school or anything else
If you are getting SC, you’ll be limited to a ~£55-60K based. Bonus I’ve seen at EY can be around £5-10K. This is assumed you’ll get the higher band,

Ah that makes sense. Life sciences pays pretty well I've heard.
SA1 - that’s quite high… EY1 is right with pay bands but they are not that high - 42-55k. EY2 is right on bonus.
