Calling this pandemic anxiety-inducing is an understatement, and a big part of that comes from the uncertainty surrounding the future of our careers. The sober truth is nobody really knows how this is going to turn out. But having hope isn't naive optimism—the advertising business has survived economic downturns before.
To help keep that hope alive, we’re co-hosting a panel with the NYC Advertising bowl on navigating the ad industry when the economy sucks. We'll be joined by Tom Christmann & Paul Fix, award-winning NYC ad creatives who've lived through a few economic slumps. They survived, worked at some of the top agencies, and are helping other creatives get into top agencies as co-deans and instructors at Adhouse Advertising School.
We start at 5 PM sharp, so be sure to grab a drink of your choice ahead of time. If you have any questions you’d like us to ask them, reply to this thread.
You can check out Adhouse at http://www.adhousenyc.com. Next session starts on the week of May 25th.
