Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

2 bedroom help esp if you guys are wfh. Harrow and Acton are suburban and nice areas. I’ve lived near Ealing most of my life but now in south London. Best thing is to just follow the tube map going out west and check houses around there
Yes I have friends who live in Ealing who have access to child care / nursery
Can’t really comment on 2) but on 1) a 1 bedroom will def be too small for 2 adults and a child. They, alongside their paraphernalia take up a lot of space… also, they have different sleep schedules so that limits your use of one of the rooms when they’re sleeping
1) 1 bedroom with an infant is tiny, specially if you or your partner are working from home too
2) I live in Harrow on the hill and pay £1300 for a 2 bed flat without bills, its about 10 min walk to the station. I am actually looking to buy in Acton so can speak for both locations, they are both nice areas to have your kids grow up in. Obviously every single place has their own ‘dodgy’ area so do your research carefully on the specific road. Sites like mumsnet are very good for research.
Also happy to answer any other specific questions you have but I also don’t want to disclose my exact location so feel free to message me
