Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.

Some Qns:

1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?

2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

Hike expectations for someone who got mid year promotion ?con to scon

Hi everyone I am relocating to Hyderabad next month. Even though I look forward to meeting new people I can’t seem to ignore the fact that I will move away from family. My family situation is already complicated, my mom and dad are not on good terms so we don’t live together and when I move it’ll get worse. I am financially independent but I feel guilty for not being there for them. Is there any possibility of getting transferred to Gurgaon office(a lot closer to my home)if I talk to my manager?

I canceled my Amex paid membership as we aren’t traveling for work yet. Have 100k points to redeem in 2 days. Don’t want to waste it on target or Walmart gift cards as they have terrible conversion rate. Any suggestions? May be transfer to Emirates points as I will travel to Dubai in a year?

Hello, Any Deloitte UK fishes here? Does Deloitte discriminate salaries for people coming from developing countries? Anyone faced being low balled due to this?

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role
