Hi, I got a doj in Infosys on 22nd of September and my last working day in current organisation is 27th of September. Should i ask infosys to postpone doj or should i ask early relieving in my current org. though i already spoke to Hr for early relieving they said it is not possible. I am confused what to do.

Today after HR round with Morgan Stanley they have given me the amount as 2365000 base + 141900 EmployerPF + 354750 Variable + 4.75 lakh relocation.

Question for folks with second homes: Considering buying a vacation home but would be primarily for family use. We currently have a primary residence with a mortgage balance of ~640K, so my understanding is I could only deduct the mortgage interest on 110K of the second mortgage to stay under the 750K cap.
