Anyone successfully take STD or extended long term disability for final IVF procedure? I’d like to take 6 months, Destress before hand then go into extraction. Docs say if this doesn’t work they recommend I move onto other options so I want to give it a fair shot. My clinic will fill out fMLA / medical forms but not sure who ultimately decides the duration. Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine.
