I have 2.3 years of experience. I have 7.5 all fixed offer from IBM. By showing this cognizant HR is ready to give me 8 fixed+ 20k variable. But they are yet to release the offer letter. Meanwhile I cleared Capgemini interview and yet to discuss salary.
I m looking for atleast 9 LPA. Can I tell cognizant salary discussion to negotiate with Capgemini?

My last working day 8 Nov.

It is a phenomenon observed when a candidate frequently jumps job in order to have a market correction to his salary.
Say person A got settled in his job for 5 years and his current salary is 7lpa..He joined at 4 lpa.
Now for his experience, he can be paid upto 30 lpa for the role.
So after switching for 13 lpa.. He keeps job hopping from 13-19 and 19-28 within a year where he finally feels he is paid adequately.
