I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I'm a contractor for google and they want us to start going to the office.
I'll be flying to a govo location in Austin every week. I was just wondering if these "govo" offices are any good? I looked up the address online and it's defiantly not like their primary offices.

Does google have networking events in the ny office? Would like to get to know more about the opportunities but need to build my network first!
